Albin Kurti has been elected again at the head of LVV with 98.6%, as the preliminary results say, for another 4-year term at the head of leading political movement in Kosovo. While Albulena Haxhiu was elected as the head of the Women for Self-determination Organization with 94.5% of the votes and Behar Jashari was elected as the head of the Self-determination Youth Organization with 85.5% of the votes.

“The year 2022 is the year of internal elections in the LVV Movement! The process that started on March 15th, successfully concluded today on September 25th, 2022, as the first stage of the elections for leadership positions in the LVV, through direct elections organized in over 200 polling stations as well as online for the Diaspora, according to the one member one vote principle. During the following weeks, the process will continue with the election of the Movement presidencies in the centers, and will end at the end of October with the election of the LVV presidency at the constitutive meeting of the General Council.
