Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti warmly welcomed the diaspora’s return to Kosovo. Through a Facebook post, he emphasized the vital role of compatriots living abroad. He described them as both guests who visit to reconnect and partners in shaping Kosovo’s future.

Kurti stated, “We always need our compatriots, our diaspora. They visit us as guests to feel close again. Moreover, they are partners in development and co-creators of our future.” He added that the narrative has shifted from a “brain drain” to a “heart that does not forget.” Those who build lives abroad keep the homeland close, maintain ties, and carry responsibility toward the shared nation.

Finally, Kurti expressed gratitude. He said Kosovo is fortunate to have its diaspora as a lasting part of the nation.
