Shkodra Art House organized the opening ceremony of the ‘Art Screen’ last night at Kinema Republika, attended by the Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, who praised it as an unforgettable experience.

“With Benet, Paci, Iva, Luçjani, and other colleagues, at the ‘Art Screen’ in Shkodra where art takes the heart,” Minister Gonxhja wrote on social media and further added that he is proud of the support for this artistic circle and creators from the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation.

Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy two special films: ‘Those Sweet Murky Waters’ and ‘Acqua, porta via tutto.’

Later, at the former Italian Consulate, a special program of videos and an electrifying musical performance made the night even more magical.

This festival organized by ‘Art House,’ since 2017, has brought more than 200 international and national film screenings, becoming one of the most important cultural events in Albania.

Thanks to collaborations with various international cultural institutions, the ‘Art Screen’ has created a unique platform for artists and audiences, presenting various films to the Albanian public and expanding the community of talents that confront critical approaches, experiences, and works in a series of activities, where this year’s special guest was Iva Lulashi, from Shkodra, representing Albania at La Biennale di Venezia.”
