Assembly of Albania to hold a conference on the role of WB parliaments in the “Berlin Process”

The Assembly of Albania will hold tomorrow the Parliamentary Conference on “The Role of the Assembly in the Berlin Process”.
This is the first meeting to be held in the week of the Berlin Process Summit, which tries to give another handling to the role of the assemblies of the six Western Balkan countries during the EU integration process, The chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of the parliamentary committees on European Affairs and MPs from the parliaments of Kosova, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia and North Macedonia will attend the conference.
The Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, the Chairperson of the Assembly Committee for European Affairs, Jorida Tabaku, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, the EU ambassador to Tirana, Luigi Soreca and the Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council , Majlinda Bregu will address the conference too.
The conference will proceed in continue in two discussion panels. The first will be focused on the role of the Assembly in the Berlin Process, while the other panel will be on the four fundamental freedoms of the EU and the Berlin Process, and the challenges of the future.
The chairpersons of the parliamentary committees will issue a Joint Declaration and at the end of the Conference, Jorida Tabaku, head of the parliamentary committee for European Affairs, will provide a summary of the discussions in the conference.
