Association and dialogue with Serbia/ Lajcak visits Kosovo on Monday

The special envoy of the European Union for the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Miroslav Lajcak, is expected to visit Kosovo on February 6. Even this time, the details of the visit have not been disclosed, but he is expected to discuss with the interlocutors the next steps of the dialogue, especially for the advancement of the European proposal for the normalization of relations between the parties, but also for the implementation of all the agreements reached within the dialogue.
Lajçak visited Kosovo 10 days ago, when he held a working dinner with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and the chief negotiator of Kosovo in dialogue with Serbia, Besnik Bislimi. Recently, various officials of the European Union, including the chief diplomat of the EU, Josep Borell, have publicly welcomed the positions of the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic, regarding the EU proposal.
This EU plan is fully supported by the United States, so Kosovo and Serbia have been invited several times to be constructive in their approach to this proposal. The EU proposal for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia was submitted to Kosovo and Serbia at the end of the summer, but its contents have not been made public.
