The national radio festival “Radiofest 2025” concluded its 16th edition, organized by Radio Gjakova.

This year, Gjakova became the meeting point for Albanian radio stations from Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and the Preševo Valley. Meanwhile, the closing ceremony took place at the “Prenk Jakova” Music School, where winners were announced in the categories of public service announcements, radio reports, and features dedicated to cultural heritage.

In the radio feature category, first prize went to Radio Tirana and author Jaho Margjeka. Second place went to Radio Kosovo, while third place was awarded to Radio Gjirokastra.

In radio reporting, Radio Alba of Klina won first prize. Next, Radio Lushnja placed second, followed by Radio Peja in third place.

As for public service announcements, Radio Plus (Prishtina) won first prize. It was followed by Glam Radio (Prishtina) and Radio Klea (Elbasan).

In addition, the Organizer’s Award went to Radio Montenegro – Albanian Section, Radio Prizren, and Radio Ylberi (Mitrovica).

The Best Radio Voice award was presented to Fitore Istrefi Alushi from Radio Struga.

Finally, the award ceremony featured a rich artistic program with guests from Kosovo and Albania. Overall, the festival was supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kosovo and the Directorate of Culture of the Municipality of Gjakova.
