Borrell after meeting with Kurti: We are eagerly waiting for concrete progress soon on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell said that he can hardly wait for a concrete progress in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
Borrell made these comments after a meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Foreign Minister Donika Gërvalla, who are staying in Munich, Germany, where they are attending the Security Conference.
Borrell wrote in a Twitter post that they discussed geopolitical challenges and regional implications in the Balkans with Prime Minister Kurti.
“Good exchanges with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Foreign Minister Donika Gërvalla regarding the geopolitical challenges we are seeing at the moment and the regional implications in the Western Balkans. We also discussed the next steps in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. We can not wait for concrete progress soon,” Borrell wrote.
Otherwise, Prime Minister Kurti said that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is a constructive party that is committed to a legally binding agreement that focuses on mutual recognition.
With this end in view, he said that he is ready to respond to the invitations for meetings of the leaders if there is the same will from the Serbian side.He also welcomed the close coordination between the European Union and the United States in this important process.
