The Parliament of Montenegro passed the agreement between Albanian Prime Minister Rama and former Montenegrin Prime Minister, Abazovic for the construction of a new bridge over the River Buna.

The 310-meter long bridge will shorten the road from the Great Beach of Ulqin in Montenegro to Velipoja in Albania.

This project will cost around 20 million Euros and will be co-financed by the two neighboring countries.

The project was presented by the former prime minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic, and that of Albania, Edi Rama, in June 2022.
