The issue of the north of Kosova, the tensions and the violence of the Serbian protesters was also discussed in the British Parliament.

The conservative MP, Alicia Kearns, has called for the crisis in the north of Kosova to be addressed urgently. She has demanded answers from the British government for the excessive pressure of the allies that has been exerted on Kosova.

Kearns considered the boycott of the local elections in the four northern municipalities as interference and ordered by Serbia

“And if hostile forces took control of the office of a mayor in Great Britain, we would not say ‘well go and work from home’, no, but we would say that this is an attempt to attack democracy,” said Kearns in her speech.

Meanwhile, the Minister of State in the Foreign and Development Office in Great Britain has spoken about concrete commitments of Great Britain for the de-escalation of tensions in the north of Kosova.
