Bulgarian Cultural Evenings – Bulgarian Tourists Bring Unique Vibes to Durrës

The second edition of “Bulgarian Cultural Evenings” took place last Saturday in Durrës, bringing a vibrant atmosphere and cultural richness.
In a press release, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Tirana announced that this initiative attracted many Bulgarian tourists to the Albanian coast. While enjoying their vacations, they also showcased the beauty of Bulgarian folklore to the people of Durrës.
For two consecutive years, organizers have highlighted the diversity of Bulgarian folk dances, songs, and traditional costumes, thanks to collaboration with folk clubs from various Bulgarian regions. Ensembles from Byala (Northern Bulgaria), Vratsa (Western Bulgaria), and Vasilovo (Central Bulgaria) participated in this cultural exchange.
“The upcoming Bulgarian cultural evenings are scheduled for August 12th and 17th, at the ‘Aleksandër Moisiu’ Cultural Center in Durrës. Plans are underway to expand this initiative to include other Albanian cities,” the Bulgarian Embassy stated.
These cultural events not only celebrate Bulgaria’s rich heritage but also foster cultural exchange and strengthen ties between Albania and Bulgaria, promoting mutual understanding and appreciation.
