Former Bulgarian Prime Minister and leader of the opposition Boyko Borisov has asked Prime Minister Krill Petkov to bring a proposal to pave the way for the opening of negotiations for Albania and North Macedonia. He has stated that his 59 deputies will vote in favor.

“I have asked the GERB deputies, if they believe me, to support the proposal, if Petkov is afraid, there will be 59 deputies to give the green light to Macedonia and Albania. As I promised, on Saturday we read the texts for the negotiating framework for North Macedonia. “I believe in Macron and the EC, so far all the good that has happened is thanks to the EU,” Borisov added.
