One of the most beautiful performances in the history of world art by the French composer Georges Bizet, was put on the stage of the Opera and Ballet House in Tirana, delivering emotions and show to the art-loving audience that filled the hall.

An opera in 4 acts, “Carmen” tells the drama of the life of a woman who defied social rules and disregarded the traditions of those years, through the enchanting arias of the composer Bizet.

The story in the opera “Carmen” begins in the city of Seville. A noble soldier, Don Jose, meets Carmen, a passionate and free girl, who provokes Don Jose’s feelings, following a chain of events that will shock the social rules.

The opera “Carmen” is on stage of the Opera and Ballet House on December 9, 10 and 11.
