The senior adviser of the American Department of State, Derek Chollet, after the conversation with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, said that the USA supports the meeting that affirms the commitment of Kosovo and Serbia to the proposal of the European Union.

“The US supports a constructive meeting that affirms the commitment of both sides to the EU proposal,” Chollet writes on Twitter.

Whereas, Prime Minister Albin Kurti emphasized that he has confirmed to Chollet his position on the European proposal, as a good basis for further talks towards the normalization of relations.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will take place on Monday in Brussels.
