“Commissioner Daltoniko at the Theatre”, a tribute to Naun Shundi

The Metropol Theatre presented Commissioner Daltoniko at the Theatre on the “Çehov” stage. The play was a collaboration between the “Zonja e Bujtinës” Theatre and Metropol Theatre.
The performance served as a tribute to the late director and actor Naun Shundi. He had started working on this production, and his presence remained alive in every detail.
The text, written by Italian playwright Giuseppe Della Misericordia, came adapted for the Albanian audience by director Naser Shatrolli. Meanwhile, actor Bujar Asqeriu delivered a powerful and memorable interpretation.
In the play, comedy and irony blended with reflections on power and art. As a result, the story showed how theatre collides with authority through absurd and symbolic situations.
Moreover, the audience reconnected with the creative energy and memory of a beloved artist. They experienced a performance that proved how art continues to speak even when its creator is no longer with us.
Well-known actors—Bujar Asqeriu, Marius Dhrami, Rajmonda Shundi and Adelina Muça—brought the characters to life with intensity and finesse. In addition, Sara Doda’s scenography and costumes offered a simple but powerful visual concept, while Endri Sina’s music and Maria Brokshi’s directing assistance completed the show.
In the end, Commissioner Daltoniko at the Theatre remained an unforgettable evening and a fitting tribute to Naun Shundi’s legacy.
