The Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood of the European Union Oliver Varheleyi has reacted regarding the agreement on free movement between Kosovo and Serbia, based on the principle of reciprocity. Varhelyi welcomes this agreement and hopes that it will signal a new era of real progress in dialogue.

“I welcome the agreement on free movement between Kosovo and Serbia and I sincerely hope that this signals a new era of real progress in dialogue, based on mutual agreement and implementation,” writes Varheleyi.

Varheleyi also shared on social networks the statement of the high representative of the EU’s foreign policy, Joseph Borrell, who earlier stated that he feels happy that a European solution has been found for the free movement of citizens in Kosovo and Serbia .
