On the occasion of the 16th anniversary of Kosova’s independence, the US Congressman, Ritchie Torres wrote on the ‘X’ platform that Kosova is a US success story of democracy in the Western Balkans.

 “I am proud to represent the Bronx, which is home to thousands of Albanians from Kosova, Albania and elsewhere,” he said.

Finally, the US Congressman, Ritchie Torres has also stated that the US has no greater ally than Kosova in the Balkans. On the other hand, he was very pessimistic about Serbia not leaving the Russian influence, while stating that Kosova should join international institutions.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of Kosova’s independence, there were organized activities in the US. Likewise, in many countries where Kosova has embassies and diplomatic representations, various activities have been organized to mark the 16th anniversary of Kosova’s independence.
