TIRANA, 10 March 2026 – The Kosova Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, met today with Blanca Hereza, acting Chief of Current Operations in the NATO Operations Division of the General Staff.

The discussion focused on current developments in the Ministry of Defense and the Kosova Security Force, as well as future plans.

According to the Ministry of Defense, Maqedonci emphasized that Kosova aims to join NATO. He also highlighted ongoing coordination and close cooperation with KFOR and the NATO Advisory and Liaison Team.

In addition, Maqedonci stressed that Kosova’s objective remains NATO membership. He said this would allow the country and the Kosova Security Force to continue contributing strongly to regional stability and peace.
