Coordinating Group for Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe meets today

The Coordinating Group for Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe will hold its next meeting today (December 18), where the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kreshnik Ahmeti and the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Saranda Bogujevci will participate.
This coordinating group will play a key role in terms of increasing cooperation, as well as accurately and coherently reflecting the situation in Kosovo in terms of human rights, the rule of law and democracy.
The establishment of the Coordinating Group for Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe was approved on July 12 by the government.
We remind you that on May 12, 2022, Kosovo began the process of membership in the Council of Europe by submitting an application to the headquarters of this institution, in Strasbourg.
