The special envoy of the United States of America for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, will meet this Thursday (March 14) with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, to discuss the CBK regulation on the ban on the use of the Serbian dinar, the path to restarting the Prishtina-Belgrade dialogue, and the decision regarding the properties of the Monastery of Deçan.

The meeting with Kurti comes one day after the meetings that Escobar held with President Vjosa Osmani and the leaders of the opposition parties.

In the meeting with the latter, Escobar talked about the problems faced by the Serbian community.

Moreover, the focus was on the CBK regulations, for which Osmani explained that she will move forward with a joint solution with the allies.

The President stressed that cooperation with allies is crucial for both uncompromising efforts to ensure the rule of law throughout the territory of Kosovo and for strengthening Kosovo’s international position.
