The chairman of the parliamentary group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla informed today that direct flights Tirana-Bucharest will be established very soon, which will encourage tourists from Romania to visit our country.

After meeting with the Romanian Senate delegation, led by Senator Titus Corlățean, Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Romanian Senate, Balla stressed the importance of intensifying economic relations between the two countries. Balla expressed particular gratitude for the support that Romania gives to Albania’s EU membership process.

“We have a memorandum of cooperation between our parliaments for the benefit of gaining Romanian experience in this process, or even for strengthening the capacities related to the construction of projects to apply in the EU. “Albania must be ready to benefit from the membership process”, added Balla.

Balla thanked Romania for its unlimited support to Albania, while noting that the two countries have excellent relations and the Aromanian community in Albania also plays a role here.

For his part, Senator Titus Corlățean said that “the visit is very important because we give strong support to Albania’s integration into the EU.”
