Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Sports Blendi Gonxhja, together with the head of the National Center of Cinematography, Jonid Jorgji, held a special meeting with Kuçovë Mayor Kreshnik Hajdari.

During the meeting, they discussed reviving film activity in Kuçovë and ways to enrich the city’s cultural life.

“Interesting projects were also presented for the new city museum, a space that will boost tourism and attract more visitors year after year,” Minister Gonxhja said.

The meeting follows the decision for the Ministry to invest around €1.4 million in reviving cinemas across the country in 2026.

The goal is to bring back the magic of cinema to audiences nationwide.
Seven cinemas are expected to benefit from technology and facility upgrades, creating more attractive and comfortable spaces for all movie lovers.
