The EU has considered the decision of the Kosova government to dismiss the Management Team for the Association of Serbian Municipalities as a violation of the spirit of dialogue.

European Union spokesman Petar Stano said any decision regarding the management team must be approved as part of the EU-mediated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

“It is clear in the dialogue agreements that the management team must function until the statute of the Association of Serbian Municipalities is approved. Any decision regarding the management team must be approved in the framework of the EU-facilitated dialogue,” Stano said.

A day ago, the government of Kosova dismissed the Management Team for the Association with the argument that their draft proposal was far from what Kosovo can accept.

The team consisted of Danijela Vujičić (MP of the Serbian Parliament), Jelena Bolovic, Igor Kalamar and Dejan Radojković.
