“Divani Lunxhot”, a multifaceted festival of the tradition of the Lunxheria area, once again this year gathered 12 folk song groups from Albania, revealing folk and ethnographic values, the beautiful traditions of the Albanian folk, a rich heritage of Albania, which continues to be passed  from generation to generation. 

 The 4th edition of “Divan Lunxhot”, a consolidated cultural activity of folk and tradition, was held in the village of Dhoksat, one of the 100 villages selected as tourist destinations.This year, this event was accompanied by a culinary and handicrafts fair.

 This organization was also appreciated by about 50 local and foreign researchers and academics, participants in the 50th World Conference of Ballads that is currently taking place in thestone city of Gjirokastra.

Throughout the summer season, the municipality of Gjirokastra has organized diverse activities, influencing the development of tourism and the transmission of our national traditions and values to the younger generations.
