President Vjosa Osmani met today in Pristina with the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires, Anu Prattipati. They discussed recent developments in the country and the upcoming early elections on 28 December, KosovaPress reports.

Osmani stressed the importance of a smooth electoral process and full respect for the highest democratic standards.

They also addressed several issues related to bilateral cooperation.

On this occasion, President Osmani reaffirmed her strong commitment to strengthening the partnership with Kosovo’s key strategic ally, the United States.

Also today, President Osmani met with the British Ambassador to Pristina, Jonathan Hargreaves. They discussed the latest political developments in the country and the early elections scheduled for 28 December, KosovaPress reports.
