The United States and Kosovo signed in Washington the compact program agreement of the American Corporation Millennium Challenges through which over 236 million dollars are expected to be invested in the energy sector. 202 million of this investment will be provided by the USA.

Present at the signing of the agreement were the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

This program will enable the stabilization of electricity supply, the integration of renewable energy sources and the preparation of the workforce for employment in the energy sector.
