Ermonela Jaho is back on stage, after 8 months of absence for the public.

“Before and after every show I am in tears, because I feel lucky to be there. I kiss the stage, every time I get applause. Maybe, that could be the last time. Maybe the next show will be in a few months. Emotionally, it’s something incredible. More than strange it is a bit difficult, not to see the whole audience and feel the energy that conveys. But again, even if there is a single person to see, a connection is created with you, it is an achievement “- says Jaho.

Greek National Opera enticed people back to the theatre after seven month break. The first show for the new season, was “Madama Butterfly” by Giacomo Puccini. The presentation in front of the art-loving public, came with a video, intelligent, as well as humorous, entitled “Greek opera is safe”, in order to inform the public about very strict protection measures.
