The Kosovo-Serbia dialogue was the main topic of discussion during the meeting between the EU’s special envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. Escobar has stated that the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina on all open issues and the normalization of relations will continue in a dynamic and constructive manner.

For his part, Vucic once again emphasized Serbia’s full commitment to continuing the dialogue process and resolving open issues between Belgrade and Pristina, with an emphasis on the full implementation of the agreements signed in Brussels so far and the respect of of international law.

Earlier, Escobar asked the government of Kosovo to postpone by 10 months the decision on the implementation of the license plate agreement. According to Escobar, the response to such a proposal was positive.

“I would like this to happen. This is not only a request of the USA. And this is because we are the countries that support Kosovo the most”, Escobar emphasized.
