The US Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, will visit Pristina next Monday, to meet with the head of the Government, Albin Kurti.

Escobar’s visit comes immediately after that of the EU emissary for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, who stayed in Pristina and Belgrade to meet with the heads of the two states.

Lajçak said that during his meeting with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the call for the normalization of relations between the two neighboring states was repeated. He said that they are working on the issue of normalizing reports, as he added that “there is no more time to lose”.

Otherwise, during the day the chief diplomat of the EU, Josep Borell from Tirana, confirmed that the European Union has submitted to Kosovo and Serbia the latest version of the newest proposal on the dialogue table, confirmed the high representative of the European Union for politics foreign affairs and security, Josep Borrell./kosovapress/
