Last night, the National Opera and Ballet Theatre hosted stars of European ballet.

Thirteen principal dancers from across Europe performed in Tirana. They rank among the most acclaimed artists on international stages. Choreographer Arian Sukniqi organized the rare event.

The program featured excerpts from classical ballets and modern works. It blended traditional elegance with contemporary energy. The dancers performed scenes from Swan Lake, Giselle, and Don Quixote, alongside modern choreography that highlighted each artist’s style and virtuosity.

The performers came from leading institutions. They represent the Berlin State Ballet, the National Ballet of Tokyo, the Ballet of Cologne, the Royal Theatre of Amsterdam, the Thüringer State Ballet, and theatres in Rome, Naples, and Palermo, among others.

The evening also featured soloists from the National Opera and Ballet Theatre. They included Isida Mollaymeri, Lurdi Dodgjini, and Ambra Troplini.
