For the 11th consecutive year, the “Day of Mio” Painting Festival has been opened at the theater “Andon Zako Çajupi”, where 23 participating artists from different countries of the world for 4 consecutive days will exhibit their works over the years and will paint the picturesque views of Korça landscape.

The masters of canvas inspired by the colors and picturesque views of Korça and its surroundings, brought a special exhibition with their creativity.

The colony of paintings “Days of Mio” opened its 11th edition on Monday evening in the lobby of the theater “Andon Zako Cajupi”
For 4 days in succession, 23 participating artists will paint the colors of autumn in the east of the country.

“Today we opened this colony with an exhibition to acquaint the public with the best works because the fund of 11 years has a rich fund of the gallery to acquaint other artists with some of the best works of the colony over the years. This year we also tried to succeed after bringing painters from Poland, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Kosovo and Albania. They are staying for 4 days in Albania and on October 28 they are opening  their exhibition with the works they have done “, said Blerta Belliu, Director of the Cultural Center” Vangjush Mio “.

The exhibition did not miss the paintings of artists over the years with landscapes from the most inspiring places of the great master Vangjush Mio.

The exhibition “Days of Mio”, the international colony of Fine Arts is coming for the 11th year in succession in the city of Korça and will continue until October 28, where the next stop will be the tourist places Dardha and Vithkuqi.
