An exhibition featuring 45 rare and previously unknown photos and documents opened today at the Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës. The exhibition is titled “Aleksandër Moisiu: The Man and the Artist.”

The university opened the exhibition to mark its 20th anniversary. Researcher Pjetër Logoreci curated the show after seven years of research in Austrian archives. The rector welcomed Logoreci after his return from Vienna to attend the opening.

Logoreci donated the rare photographs from Vienna’s archives to the university. Rector Dr. Shkëlqim Fortuzi expressed deep appreciation for the gesture. He praised Logoreci’s archival work and his promotion of Aleksandër Moisiu’s legacy.

Fortuzi said the donation marks a valuable and exceptional contribution. It helps build a rare archival collection dedicated to the internationally renowned Albanian figure whose name the university proudly bears.
