The film “Internimi”(Exile) directed by Kast Hasa, “stole” two awards in the XV edition of the “Goddess on the Throne” Film Festival.

In the twelve awards given by the jury of the festival, “Exile” was declared the best film, while the main actor of the film, Klodian Hoxha, was selected as the best actor of the feature film.

The film has previously participated in the Arizona International Film Festival. This was also the world premiere of this film, which was financed by the National Cinematography Center in the category of feature film, feature length, first work.

The events are set in Albania in 1983, where the Kulla family tries to survive in a deportation camp. The main character is the son of the Kulla family, Artur, in love with Frida. The director himself grew up only 10 kilometers from one of the villages where “enemies of power” were deported.

“Exile” aims to shed light on the atrocities and absurdities of this time”, said director Hasa.

The “Goddess on the Throne” Film Festival marked its 15th edition. In the Cinema “Armata” in Prishtina, films have been shown for three consecutive days and artistic activities have been held by the community of filmmakers and cinematography lovers.

The “Goddess on the Throne” Film Festival, becoming a tradition in Kosovo, is usually held during the summer season, but this jubilee edition took place at the end of the year.
