Born on March 15, 1875, in Konica, into an old Konica family, he received his first education lessions in his hometown. He later attended the Xaverian Jesuit College in Shkodra and pursued studies at the French Imperial Lyceum in Istanbul. Following his high school education in France, he furthered his studies in Romance philology in Dijon, before graduating from Harvard University in the USA with a degree as a ‘Master of Arts.’

In 1897, he launched the inaugural edition of the political, cultural, and literary magazine ‘Albania’ in Brussels.

Following his move to Boston, he co-founded the Dielli newspaper along with Fan Noli, an important publication affiliated with the Pan-Albanian Federation ‘Vatra.’ In 1912, representing the Vatra Federation, he traveled to London to advocate for Albanian national interests at the Conference of Ambassadors.

In 1921, Konica was elected as the chairman of the Vatra Federation. He resumed leadership of the Dielli newspaper and contributed a notable column titled ‘Sthylla e Konitza.’ Then, in 1926, Faik Konica was appointed as the Minister Plenipotentiary of Albania in the United States.
