The well-known director Kristaq Mitro has passed away at the age of 75. The news has been confirmed to the media by Mitro’s family and friends. He was born in Vlora on December 1, 1948.

Mitro was honored with the title of Merited Artist and was known as an honorable man as well as a skilled director who has always represented Albania in various arenas and world challenges.

He was one of the most famous directors of Albanian cinematography who have left deep traces in the history of Albanian cinema.
