Five special emissaries for dialogue in Prishtina today, in an effort to reach a final agreement

The international community has increased its efforts to intensify the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, until today five special emissaries for the dialogue will stay in Pristina, to discuss the next steps towards reaching a final agreement.
Today at 10:00 the Prime Minister of the country, Albin Kurti, will receive in a meeting the envoy of the European Union Miroslav Lajçak, that of the United States of America, Gabriel Escobar, Jens Plettner, adviser to the German chancellor, Emmanuel Beaune, adviser to the French President as well as Francesco M. Talo, advisor to the Italian Prime Minister.
With this end in view, a few days ago, the senior American adviser, Derek Chollet, the British envoy Stuart Peach visited Kosovo for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
Chollet a day ago emphasized that the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia will require “difficult choices” and “political courage”.
He says that the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority in Kosovo should be formed, but emphasizes that “the Association in the form of Republika Srpska is a red line that the USA will not allow”.
Meanwhile, the British envoy for the Western Balkans, Stuart Peach, during his visit to Serbia a few days ago, said that he expects a comprehensive, final, legally binding agreement for the normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo, as two neighboring countries.
