The ancient theater of Butrinti has been enlivened by the songs and dances of a folklore festival. This is the 3rd cultural festival, held by the Association of Minority Women of the city of Saranda “Rodhon Amarandon”. Cultural groups from Albania and Greece participated in the festival organized in the theater of Butrint.

The ancient city of Butrint was filled with songs, dances, and beautiful melodies performed by folk groups.

The folklore group “Rodhon Amarandon” was created in 2018 by some girls and women of the Greek minority of Saranda.It has participated in many cultural activities inside and outside the country. This folklore group has represented Saranda in activities organized in Gjirokastra, Himara, Thessaloniki, Athens, etc., where they have also been awarded prizes.
