Cultural and Historical Attractions
Beyond its natural beauty, Voskopoja is rich in cultural monuments, including churches and monasteries that captivate visitors. The National Institute of Cultural Heritage (NICH) shared images on social media of foreign tourists visiting Voskopoja recently.
“With the good news that since the opening of the tourist season, 1165 people have visited Voskopoja, we invite all domestic and foreign tourists to explore this destination. Church of St. Athanasius
Cathedral Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary
Church of the Archangels Gabriel and Michael
Church of St. Nicholas
Monastery of St. Prodhromus
These churches are not only historical landmarks but also symbols of Voskopoja’s enduring cultural legacy, attracting visitors who are eager to explore their rich past and the beautiful frescoes they house.
