“An impressive performance crowned a new relationship with the Cairo Opera House”, said the Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti, about the gala concert where the musicians of the Cairo Opera Orchestra and the Opera and Ballet Theater performed, under the direction of Maestro Nayer Nagui and the outstanding Egyptian soprano Amira Selim. This concert can be considered the highlight of the Egyptian Culture Week. In an online post, Minister Margariti writes that International Cultural Weeks build bridges of communication between artists.

The artists brought to the public some famous Egyptian and Albanian symphonic, lyrical and classical works. The concert was also attended by the Minister of Culture of Egypt, Nevine Al-Kilani, who was present at the premises of TKOBAP even earlier, at the signing ceremony of the memorandum of cooperation between the Tirana Opera and the Cairo Opera.

The Egyptian Culture Week will continue until September 25. Meanwhile, tonight in the evening, at “Reja” it is planned to screen the movie “The Blue Elephant”, from Egyptian cinematography.
