Gazmend Leka’s exhibition “The Magic of Drawing” continues to captivate visitors at the FAB Gallery. The artworks will be on display until November 2.

Leka told the media that drawing is deeply connected to humanity and its history—from prehistoric cave pictograms to the blackboards of Einstein, Bohr, and Oppenheimer.

“Drawing has magic in itself. There is no clear cause-and-effect, and you ask yourself, ‘How did this come about?’” said Leka.

He explained that the works in this exhibition began three years ago. As a professor at the University of Arts since 1991, he drew inspiration from his students to showcase these pieces at the Faculty of Fine Arts Gallery (FAB).

For this exhibition, Leka selected around 60 large drawings and 15 smaller works.

As in previous exhibitions, Leka collaborated with his former student and current art history lecturer, Ermir Hoxha, who served as the curator.
