The General Secretary of the Regional Cooperation, Majlinda Bregu stated today that 85% of the citizens of the region believe that the process of regional cooperation increases the benefits from an economic point of view.

At the meeting of the National Council for European Integration, Bregu appreciated the fact that Albania will lead the summit of the Berlin Process.

“Considering that after the summit between the EU and the Western Balkans held in October in Tirana, this is the second summit that takes place in Tirana in a short period of time, but also in terms of its importance it is a welcomed event,” said Bregu.

Bregu said that thanks to the functioning of the National Council of European Integration, today we have a more powerful weapon than yesterday to carry out a normal control of the European integration process.

Speaking about regional cooperation, Bregu emphasized that the regional cooperation agenda started mainly from the Stability Pact in Southeast Europe.
