The 21 most important cultural and archeological sites of the city over 2400 years old of Kosovo have been brought this time a photo exhibition under the name “Heritage of Prizren in Berat” at the Medieval Cultural Center.

Through panels in sketches and photographs, 21 special monuments of Prizren heritage describe the evolution of architectural heritage from antiquity to traditional houses of the XIX-XX century.

For the director of the Regional Directorate of Cultural Monuments in Berat, Eugen Kallfani, the initiative is a good opportunity to increase cooperation and joint promotion of cultural and historical values ​​between the two countries.

“This is not just an exhibition, it is a special symbolism that has in essence the cooperation between our two countries. We hope that in the near future, we will send an exhibition of the prominent monuments of Berat to the city of Prizren’,said the Director of the Regional Directorate of Cultural Monuments in Berat Eugen Kallfani.

 ‘This initiative comes within the framework of joint cultural activities, signed by the two Ministries of Culture of our two countries. We have tried to present some of the most special assets of the cultural heritage of Prizren through 21 panels’,said Samir Hoxha, Director of the National Center of Cultural Heritage in Prizren.

The exhibition “Heritage of Prizren” is part of the International Museum Day and will remain open for several days in the Medieval Center of Berat.
