The sounds of Greek music and Albanian songs invaded the “Odeon” square in the lake town of Pogradec, where the nationally famous Greek singer Glykeria performed a live concert for about two hours. Returning after a year in Albania with her brilliant voice, the Greek artist gave beautiful emotions electrifying the Pogradec audience.
“I heard the name of the city of Pogradec from my mother. It’s a wonderful city. I find it easy to sing in foreign languages ​​and I am very happy that I have learned to sing in the Albanian language as well. It is a pleasure to sing songs in Albanian thanks to the musician Dasho Kurti”, said Glykeria.
For the organizer of the concert, Enkeleida Fejoz, such events are an opportunity to develop tourism and the cultural life of the city.

“It’s a pleasure when the audience knows the singer’s songs. It serves not only tourism, but it is also a very good relationship between the two peoples knowing that art and music is one of the connecting bridges between the two peoples, also for heritage, tradition”, she said.

After the city of Pogradec, the singer of Greek music, Glykeria, will continue her concert tour in Vlora and Dropulli.
