It takes commitment to move something forward “/ Borrell meets Western Balkans leaders in New York

The High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, held an informal dinner with the leaders of the Western Balkan countries, last night, in New York.
This is the second meeting organized by the EU High Representative, after the informal dinner in Brussels, held in May this year.
The High Representative and the leaders of the Western Balkans had an open discussion on the situation in the region and EU-Western Balkans relations, as well as on the EU-Western Balkans Summit expected to be held next month.
Among other things, Borrell underlined the need for a strong commitment from the partners of the Western Balkans, as well as from the European Union and the member states, to overcome the current dynamics and to advance the integration process.
The meeting was attended by the President of Montenegro, Milo Dukanovic, the President of Northern Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, the Head of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zeljko Komsic, the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, and the Minister Foreign Minister of Serbia, Nikola Selakovi.
