Forming new institutions—the Assembly and the Government—is key to Kosovo’s economic growth and its European future, said EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas in Pristina.

She said the European Union is ready to support Kosovo, but political leaders must prioritize the country’s future.

Speaking about the lifting of sanctions imposed in June 2023, Kallas stressed the need to avoid escalation in the north.

She also called for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia through EU-facilitated dialogue.
