Even though we are almost at the end of the summer season, the flow at Morina border crossing point to Kosova continue to be high.

During last weekend, over 70,000 citizens entered Albania, while in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Border and Immigration Directorate of Albanian State Police, over 30,000 citizens entered Albania, mainly for coastal holidays.

In the despite of the weather for worsening conditions, cloudiness, lower temperatures or rain have not influenced the change of plans for the Albanians of Kosova.

Nonetheless, there are no waiting queues due to free movements without checks as based on the agreement for the summer season between the two governments, i.e. of Albania and Kosova.

But the same cannot be said for the Nation’s Road, as there is mainly traffic in the morning and afternoon, especially at the Black Drin Bridge by Kukës. However, this situation does not seem hinder the Kosova Albanians.

The Morina border crossing point is proceeding at full capacity, with 12 counters, 6 at the entrance and 6 at the exit.
