Kosova approves new sanctions against Russia and Belarus

TIRANA, February 20 – The Kosova government has approved its 19th sanctions package targeting Russia and Belarus.
The move, proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aligns Kosova with European Union measures.
The sanctions focus on energy, finance, trade, and key strategic services. They also restrict the movement of Russian diplomats in Kosova.
Officials say the package aims to strengthen international pressure and signal Kosova’s commitment to EU-aligned policies.
