Kosovan Prime Minister Albin Kurti announced that following police raids in the northern part of the country, weapons, uniforms, and various equipment were confiscated, along with Russian and Serbian emblems from intelligence, military, and security structures.

Referring to the November 29th attack on the Ibër Lepenc Channel, Kurti highlighted that this troubling discovery “points to the potential involvement of Serbian-Russian extremist and terrorist groups, with strong ties to Serbia, seeking to destabilize Kosova and create an insecure environment in the region.”

“Following the raids in northern Kosova related to the terrorist attack on November 29, 2024, against the Ibër Lepenc Channel, weapons, uniforms, and various equipment were confiscated, and Russian and Serbian emblems from intelligence, military, and security structures were found,” Kurti stated.

He added that stability and peace in the Balkans require a unified and decisive response against these terrorist actions and destabilizing activities that threaten regional security and democratic values.
