President Vjosa Osmani met with Aivo Orav, Head of the EU Office in Kosova. They focused on the country’s political situation and the latest developments.

The main topic was the failure to constitute the Assembly, the next steps, and how the institutional deadlock is affecting crucial processes, including Kosova’s relations with the European Union.

Osmani and Orav also addressed several aspects of the EU–Kosova relationship. The President repeated her call for the full removal of the current unjust measures and for a fair review of Kosova’s application for EU candidate status.

Yesterday marked the 50th failed attempt to constitute the Assembly.
