President of Kosova Vjosa Osmani spoke by phone with U.S. diplomat Brendan Hanrahan. The discussion focused on the importance of preserving the alliance between Kosova and the United States.

Through a post on platform “X”, Osmani emphasized the key points of the conversation. “Today I had a call with senior official of the Bureau, Brendan Hanrahan. I focused on the importance of safeguarding our strong alliance and ensuring close coordination with our key partner. The strong alliance with the U.S. has always benefited our people, our national security, regional stability, and Euro-Atlantic integration. As President of my country, I will engage with President Trump’s administration to preserve and defend this alliance, built on trust and mutual cooperation,” Osmani wrote.

Just days earlier, the United States suspended the Strategic Dialogue with Kosova.
