Kosovan Prime Minister Albin Kurti announced that Kosova will once again seek full membership status in the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF).

He noted that this application will be submitted at the La Francophonie Assembly summit scheduled for 2026.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 36th session of the European Regional Assembly (ARE), a branch of the APF, held in Kosova for the first time, Kurti highlighted the presence and growing influence of the Francophone community in the country.
